I haven’t been posting much this week due to a mild case of flu. I’m ok and working in the day but evenings and nights it’s bad and i’m not capable of anything. Any how, here’s what i’ve been up to lately. I did the above piece for a show called Big Power Of Small Things thats being organized by Koen Deleare for Kathareze gallery in Tilburg. Koen selected 25 of his favorite artists for this show which will start december 1. I’ll post on that later.

Also i’m working on this large and complicated work for my 2008 seattle show. Its only just taking shape. It depicts the Schooner Roosevelt frozen in sea ice. This is the last work in my polar series. Next year it will be 100 years ago that R.E. Peary set out on his voyage that would lead to the discovery of the North Pole in april 2009. The Roosevelt was built especially for this expedition. It’s seen here drying her sails.
