Studio Playlist 2011 #7 : Rob Verf
…My studios are located in Buenos Aires and in the country near Lujan, Argentina and in Austin, USA. In Austin I teach painting and drawing at the University of Texas. Therefore the studio where I make my prints is located inside the Art building. For my videos I work at the studio of a photographer in Buenos Aires. At these two locations I sometimes listen to the radio, but most of the time I work in silence. At my studio near Lujan (Argentina) I never have music on, because I want to listen to the sound of the birds that surround the studio. At my studios in Buenos Aires, and Austin my playlist is made from music I down load from the Internet. I almost never listen to CDs anymore. Sometimes I play movies “on repeat” as a background image. I keep this list to musical links only (…with image…). I wrote down 10 titles as you asked, but normally I cruise the net using Youtube as a jukebox.
