“Terra Nova”

Terra Nova means new land and it is here. Richard Heino Erdmann, sugar planter in the Dutch East Indies and after his return to Amsterdam as a lawyer, started to purchase land in 1910 between the Vecht and the Loenerveense Plassen, including the old one outside Oostervecht. Erdmann concluded a contract with the municipality of Amsterdam that they could deposit household waste on his 50 hectare site for 15 years. Covered with good soil and planted with different tree and plant species, a special outdoor area was created. Loosdrechtseplassen, Loenen aan de Vecht, the Netherlands

The tools and materials that changed my life is the Leica Camera.
After years of shooting analog with the Nikon F3.
I made the switch to Digital a few years ago. No, 36 shots but endless shooting.
The Leica was both camera and darkroom in one and you could send them directly to your client.
No more carrying around rolls of film and Small and handy, easy to store in your jacket pocket.

Shoes: BLUNDSTONE  “Classic Stout”

“.. ik draag Blundstone  “Classic Stout” al since 1994 toen ik die schoen in Melbourne ontdekte. Heb daarna altijd Blundstone gedragen, liet ze eerst over sturen door een vriend daar maar since kort ook een winkeltje in Schiedam ontdekt die ze ook verkoopt. Wil geen andere schoen meer aan mijn voeten en zal er waarschijnlijk ook in begraven worden.”
