Each December I ask my artist friends for a list of the best 10 albums they played in their studio the past year.
Use this website to discover new music. While you listen you can visit the artists website and check out their work.

I am a sculptor in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Most of the contributors to this website are Dutch. It is in the English language however so we can keep it as accessable as possible. 
 
The Studio Playlists started in 2006. ArtBBQ used to be a daily art blog from 2003 till 2007. (You can see it here: http://www.artbbq.nl/old.) Afterwards I decided to keep the Studio Playlists thing going. The site got a new format in 2015. I'm still busy uploading the older archives.

If you are an artist with a fondness of music and you feel like joining in please do not hesitate to contact me and I'll tell you what I need.
